Lisa is warm, loving, tough and honorable. She has a brilliance that comes from her understanding of others. She cares about the people she touches. As a teacher she will give guidance and support to students where they need it, but not allow sentiment to cloud her judgment when she works to enhance their strengths. She is a fourth generation teacher and the genes are in her soul. She loves what she does.
She will work tirelessly to overcome a task that is hard for her. She never gives up and even smiles when recommending we play another round of a game she just lost. A rare quality in this family.
I have watched her from the moment she was born and these qualities have always been there. She draws her strength from within. She needs a bit of quiet time each day to recharge her batteries and God help you if you mess with that needed time. Believe me that it is worth it.
When she wanted to ride a two wheeler bike even though she was younger than her friends, she fell down, got up, fell down and got up so many times that I wanted to beg her to stop, but she would not give up and before the sun set that day she could ride a two wheeler.
I have known and loved her from the moment she was born. She was a good baby, a sweet child, a teenager who could handle guidance and she has grown to be a woman who I admire every day. You only have to look at her children to know the mother that she is. You only have to know her to know the person she is.
